-- HikaShop version -- : 3.2
-- Joomla version -- : 3.8

Hi,
the recently viewed module is properly published. I yet choose the options "Hide when empty" , yet even when empty it shows the title "recently viewed products". So with or without viewed products the module shows.
Does the module have a bug? Thanks for your help.
Kind regards
Thomas

Hi,

There is no "hide when empty" option added by HikaShop and Joomla doesn't have such option for modules by default either.
So you must be using a third party extension which adds it.
Also, note that when there is no products to display, the output of the module is already empty.
The problem tho is that even if the HTML output of the module is empty, it's the template which displays the title of the module before the HTML of the module given by HikaShop.
So HikaShop has no control on whether the title would display or not.
I'm afraid you'll have to contact your template provider for help on that issue here as HikaShop is not linked to it. You would have the same problem with any other module.

Hi Nicolas,

thank your for your answer, but I have to disagree on this matter.
I have attached two screen shots showing and proving that there is a hide if empty function within your Hikashop developed module.

So if there is such a switch, there should be a solution, cause as you see, I have selected Yes in the Hide if empty option.

Thanks again for your reply

Kind regards

Thomas

Hello,

sorry but the last 2 options (color & hide if empty) don't coming from HikaShop, see my backend localhost that don't use display plugin or specific template (only protostar).

@thomasf

what Philip is saying is correct, just because you see the "Hide if empty" button in a Hikashop module doesn't mean it has been developed by them. If you look more closely you will see the "Hide if empty" option for every module and it is in fact coming from a different extension you are using: Advanced Module Manager.

We also have a recent products module just like you have (and use AMM), and in our case it works fine and doesn't display anything if there are no recent products, so it looks like there is an issue with your template and as Nicolas originally wrote it's probably best to check with your template provider.

Kind regards,
