Add to cart button not working!!! Help!

-- HikaShop version -- : 3.30
-- Joomla version -- : 3.8.5
-- PHP version -- : 5.6.32
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Chrome

My add to cart button does nothing on my products pages now. I have not changed anything to my knowledge but something in a recent update killed them. Can't make any sales on the website like this please help I have no idea what is causing this problem!

Hi,

You're using the old add to cart buttons system of HikaShop.
Turn off the "add to cart legacy" setting of the HikaShop configuration to use the new one. That should help circumvent the problem.

Hi,

I've tested it on your website and it seems that there is a fatal error on the server side when the add to cart process is run.
So please check for fatal error messages in the PHP error log of your hosting. That will provide more information on what's going on.

This is not the PHP error log.
This is a log of Joomla.
Please contact your hosting company so that they can tell you how to retrieve your PHP error log if you don't know how to access it.

Can you please see whats up now?

It seems the add to cart button works now HOWEVER in order for it to work you have to manually add the number 1 in to the quality box then click add to cart and it will work.

How to i remove that quality box entirely? People rarely buy more than one so I dont need it.

Please advise. Also should it not be autmatically having a 1 in there?? I have no clue why all these problems all of a sudden from an upgrate you guys made.

Your issue is probably coming from your template which doesn't seem to be compatible with Hikashop, you should probably test it with one of Joomla default front-end template and without any views customization via "Hikashop->Display->Views".

I am certainly not going through the hastle to change my website template design again... that took weeks originally. Tell me how I can add a default "1" in to the quantity box so it works. Thats all I need to do. I could hard code it in a file if that works but I need your guidence.

The only thing we want to know is, if your issue is coming from one of your template override. So we'll need you to temporarily test it with one of Joomla! default front-end templates to see if it works fine.

Hi,

Then, try renaming the folder templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_hikashop/ via FTP in order to deactivate all the view overrides of your template, that might help.
Otherwise, as Mohamed said, you can

use the "Quantity input method" option via "Hikashop->System->Configuration->Display"

and that should help. Try the different values of that option.

Renaming the template folder fixed the problem.
