Member can not acces Dowloads (Error: Call to a member function)

-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : Call to a member function process() on null

Hi,

After updating members can not access the downloadpage anymore. An error occures: (Error: Call to a member function)
I turned on Debug and the following information is given:

Hi,

From what I can see, this would indicate that you're using the Starter edition. However, the download area and has always been for the commercial editions of HikaShop.
So I'm surprised you had it before the update ? Maybe there was a bug which didn't check properly the edition of your HikaShop.
Thank you for your feedback, I've added a patch on our end so that such error can't happen even in such case. However, I'm afraid that even with the patch, it won't allow you to access the download area with the Starter edition. Nevertheless, your customers already have access to their download if they open their order and in the email notifications.
If you have the error with other editions of HikaShop, then download again the install package on our website in the menu My account>My subscriptions and install it on your website again, and it will add the patch for that error.

I use HikaShop Starter for 3 year now and members (registered users) always were able to download a file after a purchase.
Are you really telling me this was a bug all the time?

Hello,

Yes, customers do have the possibility to download files via the links they can find in the order notification email or via the order details (under the customer order listing).
But, as Nicolas wrote ; the "download" section which can be available from the customer dashboard is only for the commercial editions of HikaShop.

OK, I understand. Weird though, in all my previous versions of the Starter version the downloadsection worked fine.
Maybe you should disable the Menu-option "Customer download space" in the starter version" ...
This is confusing and results in an error in the Starter version.
