I am not able to see the paypal pro as payment method even after I have published it, you can login with the details I already sent you.

I am also interested in upgrading to paid hikashop ver. can you confirm me , how easy it to upgrade it without any data and config loss

I got it configured, but when I test it I get the following error -
"An error occurred. The connection to the PayPal Pro server could not be established: Unsupported SSL protocol version"

I have unpublished for now, you can publish it to test.

Hi,

Due to security enhancements made by PayPal 2 years ago, PayPal Pro now requires to have connections securized with TLS 1.2
In order to be able to open such connections with PHP, it requires your server to have the openSSL installed on your server and used by your PHP to be at least the version 1.0.1
This error happens because you have an older version of openSSL which doesn't support TLS 1.2
Thus, you can't use PayPal Pro on your server.
I think the best is to contact your server administrator/hosting provider to see with them if they can update openSSL on your server.

Hi,

Yes the Paypal pro is now started to list as Payment Method, but I am facing following issues in order to have it configured-

This is the my configuration screen for paypal pro, here when I have "Instant Capture" enabled as following -

It gives me following error on last step of the checkout and transaction is not process

But, when I disabled it. It shows me thank you message on checkout with success, but the transaction is not reflated on the my paypal account/dashboard.

I have the Hikashop Business Ver.

Hello,

First, can you activated Debug mode in order to get some clue on your Paypal Pro processing in your log ?

And later, process some tests and provide the log to our Contact us form (with the url to this topic in your message).
The other idea, is that maybe the instant capture process isn't available anymore or unavailable with your Paypal account ?
Maybe the Paypal support can give us some advice on this specific point ?

Hi,

No PayPal Pro transactions are normal PayPal transactions.

From what I know, the sandbox system of PayPal is quite strange sometimes. So if you don't see the transactions there but the transaction worked and the order was created, then it's working. You should try with a real account and it should work properly there with the transaction appearing on the account.

Also, if it works with the instant capture, there is no reason it doesn't without. The code in the plugin is exactly the same regardless of the instant capture flag which is something sent to PayPal to tell it to capture immediatly or not. So if the transactions work with it but not without, you need to check with PayPal merchant support for the cause.

Hi,

No you don't need to setup a return URL.
If you don't, then, when the customer goes back to the shop after his payment on the PayPal payment page, it will see the default thank you page of HikaShop.
If you do, then he will get that URL.
