Hikashop missing from Components Menu after latest update

Since upgrading without any apparent error messages to 3.4.0, Hikashop is now missing from the Compoinents Menu in the admin back-end. Everything is working otherwise and the component is accessible via other routes e.g. direct url and from the System Control Panel.

I saw a similar post from about a year ago but I can't see that it's exactly the same and the "fix" doesn't seem to be required as the menu root entry in the database appears to be present.

Any Ideas?
