Cart is not updated only after browser refresh

-- HikaShop version -- : 3.4.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.8.8
-- PHP version -- : 7
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : FF

Hi there,

we encounter the following problem - the cart is not updated.
The blue message box appeares, but the cart is only showing e.g. 1 item after a browser refresh.
I read a post in the forum about the legacy cart system. This is turned of.

What could be the reason or the next steps to troubleshoot?

P.S.: You can ignor the prior post about the emails. Problem is solved.

Hello,

That's weird, do you have any shipping method with the "debug" option set to YES ? If that's the case, can you test it with that option set to NO ?

thanks for your answer. Can you explain better what you mean with "shipping method" with debug? Cannot find such an optin in shipping method.
If you meant Joomla System debug and error level report, first was on NO, I set the reporting to the lowest level.

Hello,

The cart is updated but the cart module you're using is not compatible with the HikaShop 3 cart system (or you do have a view override with HikaShop 2.x content).

Hello,

can you please explain better what you mean. We installed the latest version of Hikashop. To my best knowledge we use the Hikashop cart module that came with the install. I will check the view override.

Hi,

Well, either you have a file templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_hikashop/product/cart.php which creates that problem (and you can rename that file to deactivate it in order to use the default cart module display of HikaShop), or you have another cart module (check the type of the module in the Joomla modules manager, if it's not HikaShop cart module, then it's not our cart module but another one)
