Integation with FAVTHEME Template

I have a joomla site built with the "Starter" Favtheme Template.

I installed HIKASHOP and I wonder if you have a tutorial on how to integrate HIKASHOP with existing templates.

I found in the forum the entry about using HIKASHOP user registration and i implemented it, it works fine.

What are other things I need to take care of?

Also I believe I heard in one Nicolas videos that there is an extension for the Canadian taxe structure (GST + QST), where can I find it?

Hi,

There is no much to do. It's the same that you would have with the default template of Joomla for any extension:
- you create the menu items of the types of HikaShop that you need via the Joomla menu manager
- you enable/create the module instances of the types of HikaShop (HikaShop content module, HikaShop cart module, etc) that you need via the Joomla modules manager
- and then you configure your HikaShop based on what you want it to do. For example, if you need geolocation, you'll want to configure the geolocation plugin ( www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/7...hop-geolocation.html ). You need to configure the shipping methods and the payment methods, etc.

There is no need for an extension for the Canada taxes. You can just configure your tax rules in the menu System>Taxes, and activate the "cumulative tax" setting of your tax rules to be able to have both the GST and the QST tax rates applied at the same time.

Merci Nicolas,

Mon site avance, J'ai créé des catégories, des produits et des Brands et tout s'affiche bien.

Par contre J'ai des problèmes avec les prix.

J'ai créé une Zone Canada avec 2 sous zones: Québec et Ontario
J'ai 3 Taxe Rules les 3 sont cumulatives:

1- Canada TPS (5%) - Zone => Canada Cumulative
2- Quebec TVQ (9.9.75%) - Zone =>Canada+ Quebec Cumulative
3- Les 2 Taxes au Québec (15%) - Zone =>Canada+Quebec Cumulative

Dans les produits je dois indiqué la troisième règle (les 2 taxes) pour que le système calcul bien le total. Par contre les taxes ne sont pas ventilées (je ne vois pas la TPS et la TVQ)

J'aurai pensé que je pouvais créé une Taxe rule en allant chercher celle du Canada et celle du Québec (puisqu'elle sont cumulatives).

Comme je ne vois pas comment j'ai créé la troisième, mais à ce moment je ne comprends pas à quoi sert ou comment utiliser le cumulatif.

Hello,

If you have questions in French, please post in the French section of the forum.
That forum subject seems to be integration between HikaShop and the template and your last message seems to be related to taxes and zone configuration ; these are two subject very different and would be better in a different subject, which can ben find and help other users too (so does the thousand of existing messages).
