Hello,

You have to edit your required email, in the Html part you have to remove the "<img>" with the Url "/media/com_hikashop/images/icons/icon-48-order.png"

This will do the trick.
Regards

Hi Philip,

The only thing that I have in my HTML template related to any image is this, the site logo:
<img src="{VAR:LIVE_SITE}/media/com_hikashop/images/icons/store-logo.png" border="0" alt="xxxxx" style="text-align:center;"/>

You are referring to the tempaltes found under Sytem > Emails - correct?

Thanks!

Hi,

Once you're editing an email via the menu System>Emails, you have the HTML version where you can find the HTML code of the email. With old emails of HikaShop, all the HTML code was there including the header img tag.
However, since HikaShop 3.0.0, emails now have templates:
monosnap.com/file/1l9OugV8qAKssVfAbHrIXObauAGHZa
So the header and footer of the email are in the template file, not the HTML version of the email.
That way, if you modify the header of the default template, it will change for all the emails using the default template.
So, for the change you want to do, it's the default template that you want to edit with the edit icon next to the template selector dropdown.

So the blue image is found here: /media/com_hikashop/images/mail/header.png

If I change it to the new image below in the template, it will not be removed or overridden when hikashop is updated - correct?
/media/com_hikashop/images/mail/company-header.png

Or if I removed them altogether from the template it won't be reinstated when hikashop is updated - correct?

Thanks!

Hello,

That's right. Core image will be re-installed with HikaShop packages. So you have to create a new image if you want to be sure to keep your customization.
You can place your images in the same folder (or in a sibling) ; the Joomla update system do not delete the content of folder during updates, just copy all files.

Thanks Jerome.

I'm just going over my options...

If I remove the image tags altogether from the template it won't be reinstated when hikashop is updated - correct?

<img class="w600" src="{VAR:LIVE_SITE}media/com_hikashop/images/mail/header.png" border="0" alt="" />
<img class="w600" src="{VAR:LIVE_SITE}media/com_hikashop/images/mail/footer.png" border="0" alt="--" />

Thanks!

Hi,

That's right. When you modify the HTML/templates of emails via the interface provided by HikaShop, the changes are saved as overrides and thus you don't loose them when you update Hikashop.
