Hikashop -> Products-> Characteristics - Open SIZE does not display

-- HikaShop version -- : 4.0.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.9.0
-- PHP version -- : 7.2.1
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Safari, Firefox, Chrome

I have 3 characteristics (see screenshot) and all are open except the SIZE characteristic.

There are a lot of different values in that SIZE characteristic. So when clicking on the link to open, it will just display a blank screen. No error message even though debug and error messaging is turned on.

Just curious, there does not seem to be an alias, is this not necessary?

Hi,

Please check that you have both the "error reporting" and "debug mode" settings of the Joomla configuration activated. If even with that you don't have the error message, you'll have to check in the php error log of your hosting for the fatal error message corresponding to that problem. You might need to ask your hosting to get access to that log.

The alias is not necessary. It's just to be used for when you have several characteristics with the same name (for example, size for shoes and size for wears) so that you can distinguish them in the backend.
