Shop Custom Quantity plugin - change field at checkout

Hi,

I have a few fruit and veg products that are sold by custom weights. I have been using the Shop Custom Quantity plugin from the hikashop marketplace to achieve this.

The issue is when customers go to the checkout and want to update their quantity, they accidentally increase the cart amount. So instead of having 1.3kg of apples, the order comes through as 1.3kg x 2 apples.

Is there a way to switch off the quantity option at the checkout and instead have the custom field as editable, for select items only?

I will keep an eye out for the new Hikashop update, as with the current climate, we are eager to have all the site hiccups ironed out as soon as possible.
