I've been customizing Hikashop's emails for years, I've recently discovered the way to customize the stored Email Templates. However, after creating two custom templates - one for customer emails and one for administrative emails, I'm seeing an issue.

All of the emails are sent properly. All of the emails involving orders (Creation, Status, Notification, as well as Administration and Payment), appear perfectly normal, delivered with all the images intact. However the emails that involve User Accounts (User Account and User Administration Notification) are delivered with broken image links, even though they use the same two Email Templates.

At this point, the customization for the Administrative template has been merely been to replace to URLs for the header and footer graphics with links to a pair of uploaded images in the media manager. The company Logo appears in the Email content, not the template.
The User messages do not include the logo yet, but they will. I will add this logo to the content on our test server and see if it delivered successfully even though the template images don't.

We're about to activate Guest Checkouts, which, for us, involved adding content to most of these messages to pitch site Membership features. Having the company branding appear in the messages is pretty important to us.

Any Suggestions?

Hi,

The emails already use the default template. And the default template already has images by default and the images of the default template do display in the emails, including the "user account" one.
So I can only think that there is a problem with the way you added your logo image to the template.
We would need more precise information on what you changed (what code did you add for your image in the template?) and what you get (what is the URL of the generated image which doesn't appear ?).

Well, I never identified what the issue was, so I reset all the templates to their defaults and went through the process again - and this time, everything worked as I anticipated. It must have been my error somewhere, but II have no explanation. Thank you anyway, for your time.
