Cannot Add Categories or Related Products After Upgrading to 4.4

-- HikaShop version -- : 4.4
-- Joomla version -- : 3.9.23
-- PHP version -- : 7.4.13
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : FF64

It was a bit of bumpy ride, but we updated to Hikashop Business 4.4, Joomla 3.9.23 and PHP 7.4.13. Hikashop seems to be working just fine except for one major issue.

Typing in Main Options: Categories and Specifications: Related Products no longer activates pop up selection of items. It just doesn't work at all. There is no way to add items, though clicking to delete existing ones work.

Can you provide relative settings screenshot and an Url link to the page (with the issue) and a step by step process to be able to reproduce your issue.

Sure, but this is entirely on the back end., so I don't know how to add page info that's relevant.

You can see here the Category field area. Previously, if I started typing here, Id get the suggestion pop up.



Here is the specifications section for Related Products.



Neither of these work at all. They are broken. The pop up doesn't pop up at all, it just acts like a field.

Hi,

This looks like a bug we hot fixed a while ago.
Please download again the install package of the 4.4.0 on our website and install it on yours again.
If that still doesn't help we would need a backend access to check the situation directly. In that case, you can use our contact form to provide it:

We upgraded to 4.4 and that's when this problem started.

I have sent you a contact-us email. Right now this is a serious problem for us as it keeps us from adding new products.

Hi,

We are aware yes. This bug was fixed a while ago (after the release of the 4.4.0). So you must have a 4.4.0 build prior to the hotfix we added to fix that problem.
So as I said in my previous message please download again the install package of the 4.4.0 on our website and install it on yours again.
That should normally for the issue.
And in the event it wouldn't, which would mean that it's a different issue, we would need a backend access to check on the situation. We did receive your contact request, but there were no backend access in it. So I couldn't check on the situation nor check that you already had the latest build of the 4.4.0 with the patch I'm talking about included.

We think we've resolved the problem. The version of 4.4 though wasn't very old - just a week or so.

We tried a regular reinstall, and that didn't fix it.

Then we went through and uninstalled everything by hand.

After reinstalling it that time, the two fields started to work again.
