Hi
I have an odd problem with editing product texts. My shop is bi-lingual and when I edit the meta information for the products, edits are not saved. And I can't figure out why not.
I press the buttons for english/danish and am able to access the editing panels, but pressing OK and then Save, does not save the edits I have done.
Can you please help me figure out what is happening?
Best regards

Hi,

Thank you, we got the accesses.
The issue comes from the way the system works and the fact that you've entered the same text for several fields in your product.
Because of that, only the first translation field with text will be taken into account for all the translation fields with the same text in the main product edition.
So in your "azul" product, the issue is that the "name", meta description, keywords (and even alias, when keeping only letters and numbers) have the same text and thus they are considered as one translation entry. So when you change the text for the product name in the translation popup and save, if you open the translation popup again, you'll see that the modification is applied to all these fields, not just the name.
To avoid that, you need to have different texts in these different fields on the main product edit form (that's not a problem since you have the translation for each language with the popups, so the text in the input fields of the main product form can actually contain whatever text since the user won't see it).
