-- PHP version -- : 7.4.22
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : mobile Version of browser

Hi,

I integrated credit card payment using the "Hikashop Stripe Connect Payment Plugin" (1.0.6)

Ordering via various desktop browser (edge, firefox) the credit card payment with Stripe works fine.

However when ordering via a smartphone (and therefore accessing the mobile web site of joomla) the credit card pamyent does not work. Instead of displaying the fileds for credit card number, expiration day and security code it shows simple "STRIPE_PLEASE_WAIT".

When ordering from a smartphone and changing the browser to the desktop version it works fine.

Anybody has an idea how I could get stripe payment to work on my mobile web site?

Thanks for your help

Hello,

Do you reproduce the issue if you enable your browser console and activate the feature to simulate a smartphone ?

Regarding your issue description, it looks like there is something the Stripe JavaScript which do not perform the initialisation.
The text "STRIPE_PLEASE_WAIT" is replaced by the Stripe content via the JS provided by Stripe itself.
So if the content is not replace, it generally related to wrong credentials, a SSL issue or an error raised in Stripe.

Hi,
thanks for replying so fast.

Yes, in the Emulation with mobile devices (MS Edge) I can reproduce the problem. The errors in the developer window are attached.

Another hint:
- the problem occurs when using the mobile template "protostar - default"
- when switching to the mobile template "mobile_basic - default" the it works

one more hint:
- it works on iOS, but not on Android

However I prefer to use protostar ... so I´d like to get it running with protostar.

Regards
Thomas

Hi,

The javascript error of your screenshot indicates a problem with the initilisation of the chosen library.
If you have the "user chosen library" setting activated in the HikaShop configuration, you can try turning it off and see if that helps.
