Hi
How to add the mobile number registration method to Hikashop? Is it possible to create a plugin for this? What events (triggers) should I use?

Hi,

This extension apparently does what you want and is compatible with HikaShop:
extensions.joomla.org/extension/otp-verification-for-joomla/

From what I understand, the SMS to confirm the mobile number goes through the developer's servers. But you can build your own SMS gateway plugin to integrate with any other third party SMS sending service out there.
