-- HikaShop version -- : 4.6.2
-- Joomla version -- : 3.10.11
-- PHP version -- : 7.4.33
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Chrome 107

I can't get the Shipping Estimation plugin to work with the Australian Post v2 shipping method. If I set up a Manual shipping method it works, but if I just use Auspost shipping methods it always comes up with "No available shipping". If I log in to the site with an account that has a shipping address set up, then the shipping estimate will appear on the product page, but it should show up for guest users after they enter their postcode (like it does for the manual shipping method.) Any ideas on how I can get the two plugins to work together. I have a really bare test site set up that clearly shows the issue if you'd like access to take a look.
Thanks

Hi,

Well, I can't say much without more information. First, is the Australia Post v2 shipping method showing up during the checkout with the same address ?
If yes, then we would need to investigate the situation and we'll need a backend access and a FTP access to check what's going on.
If no, then the problem is with the setup of the product / shipping method and it is not linked to the shipping estimation plugin. Probably, you forgot to add weight/dimensions in the product, or maybe an issue with the settings of the shipping method.

Thanks for looking into it. The Australia Post v2 shipping method shows up during the checkout once the user is logged in and has a shipping address set up, so it works as expected (the product also has weight/dimensions set up.) I'll send through FTP and admin access to the site via the contact form so you can look into it. Thanks again.

Hi,

Thank you for your access.
I spend the day on this and found several issues between the Shipping Estimation plugin and the way the Australia Post v2 plugin is made which made them incompatible. I've made several patches in HikaShop to fix the problem.
So just downloading again the install package of the 4.6.2 and installing it again will add the patches and fix the issue.
However, I think there might be issues with other shipping methods so I'll also report my findings to Obsidev, our partner developping the Shipping Estimation plugin, so please leave the test website accesses on for now.

Thanks Nicolas,
I appreciate the time you spent getting this to work. I've set up the Shipping Estimation plugin on my live site and it is now working well with the Aus Post shipping method. I can leave the test server up for another 2 weeks - let me know if you need it any longer. Thanks again.

Hi,

Thanks. We've discussed about this with Obsidev during the weekend and come up with a plan. We don't need the test server anymore.
Thanks !
