remove login button

In the checkout configuration for the login, I chose not to show the submit button to avoid duplicate, since clicking either on "next" or "login" (and with "next" or "register") brings in the same action.
The results are in the attached screenshots. The "register" button button does not show anymore which is great, but the "login" button still shows. Any ways to remove it (apart from hiding it with css)?
