-- HikaShop version -- : 4.7.0
-- Joomla version -- : 4.2.7
-- PHP version -- : 8.1
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : Error licence not found for hatsukoi.co.uk/j4test05/ - We did not find a licence attached to your website

Hi there,

When trying to update my version of Hikashop, I see this error in the Extension Update page:
Error licence not found for hatsukoi.co.uk/ [devfolder]/ - We did not find a licence attached to your website

This folder is one that I used a while back for upgrading my site to Joomla 4 and no longer exists.

Can you tell me how to stop the Hikashop update using this URL and to use my correct website address of hatsukoi.co.uk so that I can use the online update?

Many thanks
Leila

Hi,

The URL used is the URL you have in the "live_site" setting of the configuration.php of your Joomla. So check in there. You must have forgotten to update it:
www.namecheap.com/support/knowledgebase/...la-site-address-url/

Hi there,

Actually that 'live_site' setting is blank in my config file (as recommended by Joomla). Never mind though, I was able to update manually.

Maybe it will clear eventually but if anyone has any idea how or why it is picking up the wrong URL then I'd be grateful to hear it. It's kind of annoying ;-)

Thanks for your time

Hi,

Maybe that was because when you last installed/updated HikaShop on the website, you had that [devfolder] part in the URL ?
In that case, the URL should now be fine since you did a manual update from the new URL. It should have updated the URL in the Joomla updater.
If you still have the error next time, delete the update URL from the Joomla updater and run the install manually again. That way, it will add the URL in the Joomla updater with the current URL again and it should be fine.

Hi Nicholas,

Thanks for that info, I did wonder if that might be the case :-).

Hopefully next time it will be fine but that's a good tip about the update site URL if it's still wrong.

Thanks and best wishes
Leila
