Hi there,

Is there any way to increase the size of the editor panel where you type descriptions? The attached image shows how it looks on my PC.

In Firefox, it is not possible to stretch the panel meaning that you can't type any description. In Chrome, it's useable because you can pull it to a new height but it always resets and is annoying when making a lot of changes to a product.

It's not affected by the height setting in TinyMCE which is set to 1050 and this only seems to be a Joomla 4 problem.

I'm currently building a site for someone who uses a Mac, so I hope it's not going to be an issue there...

Hi,

We have some code in HikaShop to override the height set in TinyMCE because the default height is too big for the product description area.
However, upon further inspection, I can see that TinyMCE in Joomla changed the way it does its HTML, which requires adapting the code on our end. I've made a patch so that the new HTML is taken into account in order to make the default size more practical.

Download again the install package of the latest version of HikaShop on our website and install it on yours and you'll get the patch.

Note that you also have the "< >" button on the top right corner of the description area in order to make it wider.
