hi

in products related i can add product 1 by 1

so i want know how i can add some category for products related
for example

i have X Car for Product

i want add all cars in Yellow category for products related for this X Car Product
so now i must open this category and add all car 1 by 1 manualy
-- Yellow Car Category
- Car 1
- Car 2
- Car 3
please tell me how i can add Yellow Car Category to Product Related and all Display Childs...
i dont want add anything manualy 1 by 1

if later i add new Product
i must back to all related product and and this new Product to all

but with add category , automatic if i added new product this product add to all product

Hi,

The related products of a product are only displayed on the product details page of the product. And they are displayed by a module called "Related products".
Instead of trying to find a way to add all the products of the same category as related products (it would require the development of a custom PHP script, so it's not easy), why not edit the "Related products" module settings via the Joomla modules manager and change its "relation" setting from "related products" to "products in same category" ?
That way the related module would automatically display the products of the same category on the product details page, without having to set the related products of each product and having to keep the synchronization when adding new products.
