hi all, I've been having several problems these days.
The hikashop module checkout module behaves abnormally.

If I add a product to the cart, the form notifies me that the product has been inserted, but if I then navigate to other pages, the product is no longer there.

Secondly, if I go to the homepage it keeps in my memory an old cart with products (from a previous test in which I had added products to the cart) and if I click on the X to delete it doesn't do it.

I also tried clearing the cache and so on but the problem persists. (I wanted to upload a video but can't).

i think i figured out that the problem is jch optimization and cache management, but i can't fix it. I have excluded the modules and hikashop from the jch cache but the problem persists.

Suggestions?

Hi

This is indeed a caching issue.
JCH Optimize has the capability to cache pages / modules with the JCH Optimize Page Cache plugin:
www.jch-optimize.net/documentation/the-s...ge-cache-plugin.html
You'll probably have to turn it off or configure it as to discard pages where the cart module is displayed.
Because if the cart module is cached by your caching system, then when the cart changes, your caching system won't know about it and will just serve the cached HTML to the users. It can also be a problem with several users on the website as someone might actually see the cart content of someone else.
Now another option would be for JCH Optimize's plugin to plug itself to HikaShop cart events in order to flush its cache when carts are changed. But this is something to talk about with JCH Optimize.

yes i'm sure it's a cache problem with jch too...
the form is bound to all pages so i should turn off the cache of all pages but that would be a problem..

I just have to talk to jch..
Or I was thinking of disabling the jch pagecache and activating the joomla one by setting it to not cache the whole page.. what do you say? It might work?

Hi,

Note that I'm just recommending to turn off that system plugin, not the whole JCH Optimize component.
You'll still have many other functions of JCH Optimize working on your website, just not the HTML cache.
But yes, the best is to check with the support of JCH Optimize what they recommand.
