Hikashop / Joomla / PHP compatiablity

-- PHP version -- : 4.7.5
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : firefox 129
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : N/A

Is there public information available which shows compatibility between hikashop and different versions of Joomla & PHP.

I need to continue to run Joomla V3 but want to know what version of hikashop I can upgrade to.

Hi,

The latest version of HikaShop is compatible with Joomla 3, that's not a problem.

However, we built HikaShop to be compatible with PHP 5 minimum since 15 years ago.
Even Joomla 3 is compatible with PHP 5.3 minimum ( manual.joomla.org/docs/4.4/get-started/technical-requirements/ ).
So if you really are using PHP 4.7.5, you won't be able to run Joomla 3, nor will you be able to run HikaShop.
However, I suspect that you made a mistake when providing your version of PHP in your message, as you're saying you're already using Joomla 3. In that case, it means that you must be using PHP 5.3 minimum, and thus HikaShop will run fine there too.
