Selected custom field not saved

Hi,

I have an issue which just appeared today.
When I select a collection in my custom field (single drop down type), the selected collection is not saved, instead it's default one which is saved.

Do you have an idea why?

That's hard to say without more information on the situation.
Can you provide a screenshot of the settings of that custom field ?

What is strange is that I've been working with this custom field since a few day without any issue until today. And I didn't change any settings.

Hi,

So, several questions for you first:

- Do you confirm that you have that issue with different products ?
- Can you check that you don't have any massaction (in the System>Massactions menu) which could interfere with the saving ?
- Do you get any error when you save the product ?
- Are you able to change other information on the product, like the name ?

Hi Nicolas,

To answer your questions:
- I have the issues with all products I added or edited yesterday (products of the same brand, so same custom field).
- I don't have any mass action
- I don't have an error when saving the product
- I can change the name

Note that the issue doesn't happen with my other custom fields set up in the same way for other brands.

Hi,

The custom field works fine.
I edited a product and tried to select another value and it worked fine. I tried many values.
The only one which didn't work is "Wedding Band".
That's because there is an extra space at the end: i.imgur.com/uTjTOVI.png
This prevents HikaShop from matching the saved value in the database (without the space), and the value in the list of values.
You should remove the space at the end there and it will then work fine for this value too.
