Two orders have been created and the user has filled the details in the payment window correct, and the payment is created at ePay, but the status of the order is still "Created" and not "Confirmed" as I would think it should be ??
I use latest version of everything.

I just changed the setting to 'no' and then changed one of the order status' to 'Confirmed' then the money was captured!! That is no good.

Hi,

I checked the settings of your Epay payment method with the access you provided on another thread.
You've set the "Instant capture" setting to "recurring". In that case, the Instant capture of the funds will only happen for recurring payments (for subscriptions with HikaSerial). And for normal payments, like the ones your customers made, you need to change the status of the order in the backend of HikaShop so that the payment funds are captured on Epay's end. Otherwise, the payment funds wont' be captured, only authorized.
So the behavior of the payment method as you're describing it is normal at the moment.
If you want to funds to be captured automatically and the orders to be confirmed, you need to set this instant capture setting to "always" instead.

But the payment must not be captured instantly. It is first allowed in Denmark to capture the payment when the product is shipped or has been pickup up by the customer. So should I not set the "Instant capture" to 'no' instead of 'always' ??
And if I set it to 'no' will the status of the order then be set to "Confirmed" when the payments is set on hold at ePay ?

I just changed the 'instant capture' setting to 'no' and then changed the order status from 'created' to 'confirmed' then the money was captured ???!! That is not good.

Hi,

If you don't want the payment to be captured automatically then yes, you want to set the "instant capture" setting to "no".

Note that in this case, after the payment is authorized at the end of the checkout, the plugin will change the status of the order to what you selected in the "pending status" setting of the payment method.
Then, when you change the status of the order to the status configured in the "verified status" setting, the plugin will ask epay to capture the payment.

So if you want the status to be confirmed after the authorization, and the funds to be captured when the order is shipped, you want to select "confirmed" in the "pending status" setting, and "shipped" in the "verified status" setting of the payment method.

But the "verified status" can be both "shipped" and "picked up" - so how to do that ?

Could you eventually alter the ePay plugin, so that it would be possible to choose multiple status' for the "verified status" ? I think this must be a problem for other customers too.

Select "shipped". Then, when someone pickup the order, change the status to shipped to capture the funds and then to picked up.

But then the problem is that there is a wrong text on the mail that the customer gets!

It makes no sense that the text in the mail that is sent to the customer says: You order status is now: shipped - when it is actually not shipped, but ready for pickup, and the opposite way around.

Hi,

No necessarily. When you change the status to shipped, don't activate the notification to the user. Activate the notification to the user only when you change the status to picked up. That way, the user will only receive the notification for the picked up status.

Again - this is simply a too complicated flow for a store owner! I have now changed the name of the shiped status to "shiped/delivered/picked up" - but this is not a good solution. I suggest that you make it possible in the future to have several status' with different names that triggers a capture.
