0 Class "JPlugin" not found

Hi

Can you please help me with a problem. I have given you a list of the problem below.

I have installed a fresh install of Joomla 5.2.3 and everthing is great and it works great. Soon has i instal your software HikaShop Business latest stable version (5.1.3) everthing gose to pot.

I click on the new article button is comes up with the folowing error: An error has occurred. 0 Class "JPlugin" not found.

Can someone please help me

Hi,

This could be due to a partial installation of HikaShop. Try installing again the install package.

Also, please activate the "debug" setting of the Joomla configuration before accessing again the page with the error. It will provide more information about the problem which should help us understand what's going on.

where would i find a full installation of the HikaShop Business - i used the one your Your subscription - Download the latest stable version (5.1.3) of HikaShop Business - the ZIP one.

The zip is indeed this one.
I'm not saying that the zip is not full.
I'm saying that the installation process on your website might not have been done completely.
That's why I'm suggesting trying again, with that same zip.

Hi,

Thank you for the access. I was able to look into the issue and made a corresponding patch on our end. I've uploaded a new version of the HikaShop install package with that patch on your website and it fixes the problem.
I've also uploaded that new package on our website for anyone with the same issue.

Hi,

I'm not entirely sure.
The cause is rooted in the compatibility of a plugin in HikaShop with Joomla 5.
The problem is that this plugin works fine on Joomla 5 on all the other websites and I was not able to reproduce the error anywhere else and no one reported the issue in the past 2 years since Joomla 5 betas started rolling out and we added the compatibility to it in HikaShop.
So, that tells me there is something else on your website which messes with it, but I'm not sure what it could be.
I've modified a bit the plugin so that it makes sure HikaShop is loaded before it is executed. That way it ensures the compatibility layer of HikaShop does its job before the plugin and makes sure the error can't happen, no matter what.
