-- url of the page with the problem -- : www.heliportworld.com
-- HikaShop version -- : starter 2.2.3.
-- Joomla version -- : 2.5.17
-- PHP version -- : 5.5.3
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : safari 7.0.1
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : No error.

I have read the page on your website of ow to integrate Hikashop with Akeeba, or reversed.
I do not understand what I have to do in order to make the following work.

On the website of HeliportWorld I offer clients a subscription in 4 categories. All lasting one year.
When the subscription is paid, the customer will get to (unlocks) a menu item which gives him or her the opportunity to add information on the site in the category of choice. Which can be multiple.

It must be possible to have more than one subscription, not of the same category, but of various categories.
So, customers will be able to add their information in multiple categories with a subscription of one year, starting at the same day.

The problem with Akeeba is, that the next subscription one takes, will start when the first has ended.
That should not be the case, as multiple subscriptions of different products easily can exist.
Not in the view of Akeeba, as I have understood.

To tackle that problem, I have installed Hikashop, in order to make that possible.

But after having read your install information, I have no idea which plug in to use, how to create menu items in order to have a more or less selfsupporting system working.

Referring back to the install page is no option of course, I need more detailed information in order to have this to work for me.

Would it be possible to help me with this ?

Thanks for your support in advance.

Hi,

As far as I know, you can have multiple subscriptions running at the same time for someone with Akeeba subscriptions but what you can't do is have your customers purchase multiple subscriptions at the same time because Akeeba subscriptions doesn't have a cart system built-in.
That's where HikaShop can be used with Akeeba Subscriptions in order to support multiple subscriptions purchases at the same time.

If that's something you don't need, then you should be fine with just Akeeba subscriptions.
If that's something you need, then you want to use the first plugin of Akeeba subscription that we propose in the documentation.
Simply install and activate it and you're all set for the integration setup.
When you install HikaShop, you get a wizard which allows you to select how you want to access your store and how you want to display your products, so I suppose that you already have that in place.
So what's left is to create HikaShop products and when you do, select the subscription level corresponding to each product with the corresponding option at the bottom of the product edition page.
