-- HikaShop version -- : 2.2.1
-- Joomla version -- : 3.1.5
-- PHP version -- : 5.3.3
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : chrome

Just wondering:
website's facebook share for product page grabs wrong image. I've activated:
- hikashop microdata plugin
- hikashop social plugin
- og:image has shown meta tag of every product page correctly

facebook share always grabs website's logo image instead of product image. I've tried open graph debug tools. It said: Provided og:image could not be downloaded or is not big enough. Please use an image that's at least 200x200px and is accessible from Facebook. Image ' www.kliknshop.com/media/com_hikashop/upl...%20paris%20amour.jpg ' will be used instead.

But og:image points to 400ish x 400ish pixel image file. So it doesn't make any sense to me.
However, facebook share is working fine in joomla article page. Weird!!

Any idea??

Thanks

Hi,

<meta property="og:image" content="http://kliknshop.com/media/com_hikashop/upload/bath  body works fragrance mist travel - be enchanted_1182791253.jpg" />
"og:image" code in the webpage looks correct, but your image name contains a lot of space, with double spaces too. It is not really compliant with HTML standards.
Please try with a product which have a image filename without spaces or special characters.

i tried product page with zero space image name, and it WORKS!
ok, now is the pain part. Is this plan will work?

  1. download all images in upload folder
  2. rename all images with zero space locally
  3. upload all renamed images to upload folder
  4. delete all thumbnail folder
  5. run sql query on hikashop_file table to rename entries in file_name and file_path column

hmm Am I missing something??

Hi,

Yes, the plan is good.
You can also try to rename the files directly in the server ; using a custom PHP script or a shell interface.
