-- HikaShop version -- : latest
-- Joomla version -- : 3.3.6
-- PHP version -- : 5.3.2.5
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Chrome

Good day to you,
Recently, due to significant reasons I decided to create a new site for my shop on joomla 3.3.
My problem is, that I can`t make sh404sef and recent version of hikashop to work normally.
Possibly, this is due to 2 languages of my site?
Before I`ll try to describe problems, few basic questions:
what do you think about sh404sef? Maybe, I should change it to some other plugin, or maybe joomla 3 doesn`t creates clones of it`s pages, like a predecessor, so I don`t need any SEF plugins at all?

Hi,

HikaShop should work fine with sh404SEF when you select the "joomla router" for HikaShop in the options of sh404SEF.

You indeed don't need any SEF extension with Joomla 3.
HikaShop has built-in functions to properly handle duplicate URLs.
If you ask me, I prefer to just use the default Joomla SEF system. That's what we do on our website.

What I noticed:
I have 2 pages (one is duplicate):
leza-shaving.com/ru/store/schick
leza-shaving.com/ru/store/schick/product/listing

Google webmaster tool noticed, that they have the same title and gave me a warning. Is that okay? Google search knows, that canonical page is @http://leza-shaving.com/ru/store/schick@, or we should change something?

What bothers me, in hikashop page we wrote, that abovementioned page is canonical, while page @leza-shaving.com/ru/store/schick@ has next code:
" <base href=" leza-shaving.com/ru/store/schick " />
<link href=" leza-shaving.com/ru/store/schick/product/listing " rel="canonical" /> "

and @http://leza-shaving.com/ru/store/schick/product/listing@ has:
<base href=" leza-shaving.com/ru/store/schick/product/listing " />
<link href=" leza-shaving.com/ru/store/schick/product/listing " rel="canonical" />

Hi,

If both links have the same canonical URL, it should not be a problem.
But if it bothers you, you can turn on the "Force canonical URLs on listings" option of the HikaShop configuration. That way, the system will redirect to that URL when you access it from a HikaShop listing and thus Google shouldn't see the other links unless they come from something else than HikaShop.

A little tip for those, who will ever encounter the same problem:
Write this in .hraccess
RedirectMatch 301 ^(.*)/product/listing $1
