Google Analytics Plugin transactions wrong

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.1
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.8
-- PHP version -- : 5.4.24
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Chrome 41.0.2272.118

Hi

We are having an issue with Hikashop Google Analytics plugin.

As attached, this is a report ran via Google analytics account, it shows transactions 10.
I then go into orders via Hikashop, check between the dates and it comes back with 28.

Wondering why the transaction numbers are soooo different.

Hi,

In the orders in HikaShop ; how many confirmed orders do you have ?
Because a created order won't be count in Analytics.

All orders are confirmed, 28.
They are all via paypal.

But since when ?
Does the google analytics plugin was enable all the time ?
Are you sure that the time schedule is the exact same ?
Can you see specific orders on specific days which are not included in Google Analytics ?
Which mode of the plugin are you using ?
If you do not use "universal analytics" mode ; the plugin can't use the measure protocol and the order MUST be validated by the customer returning in your website.

Every since we have had the plugin active.

Yes the plugin is always active.

Are you sure that the time schedule is the exact same ?
Yep, the data looks at the 1st – 31st of December 2015.

Can you see specific orders on specific days which are not included in Google Analytics ?
I have attached the file that lays this out.

Which mode of the plugin are you using ?
By mode if you are referring to universal analytics, this is Yes.

If you do not use "universal analytics" mode ; the plugin can't use the measure protocol and the order MUST be validated by the customer returning in your website.
We use UA for all our clients.

Hi,

Humm. So the orders are confirmed automatically, but GA doesn't reflect that for some orders.
That's quite strange with the UA mode activated.

Can you make sure that both the "Use universal analytics" and the "Always use direct call (UA)" settings are activated in the plugin ?
Otherwise, only the orders where the user goes back to the website will be sent to GA.

You can also try to activate the setting in your PayPal merchant account to always redirect customers back to your website after their payment.
