Hello

I am currently trying to configure the ‘Hikashop Google Products Plugin’. Unfortunately GTIN is not generated. As far as I can see, this is a bug in the current plugin.

If I assign the same custom field to ‘MPN’ as a test, the tag ‘<g:mpn>’ is output correctly. If I assign the same field to the field ‘GTIN’ in the plugin configuration, no ‘<g:gtin>’ is output.

Thank you for a quick check to see if this works on your side.

Stefan

A small addendum: A tag ‘quantity_to_sell_on_facebook’ is also output. Can this be deactivated and how? This is missing in the documentation.

Hi,

It works on our end.
For the GTIN to be added, the "identifier exists" setting needs to be set to TRUE, or to the column name of a custom field where you can select TRUE or FALSE in each product.
Please check that you did this.

The quantity_to_sell_on_facebook tag is added automatically. This tag is required when you want to use your XML to import on Facebook / Instagram and doesn't do anything for Google which ignores it. So there is no setting to not have it. The documentation only provide information for settings. So we didnt feel we needed to add anything to it regarding this tag. However, if you want to read more about this tag you can look at Facebook's documentation:
developers.facebook.com/docs/commerce-pl...og/quantity-to-sell/

Many thanks for your help, Nicolas. So that others can also benefit from this topic: I had defined the values ‘true’ and ‘false’ in the custom field ‘identifier exists’. However, this does not work, the parameters must be ‘TRUE’ or ‘FALSE’ (uppercase).
