Hi,

I want to remake this website in Joomla 3. Therefore I am trying to have the virtuemart topics from this website imported in Hikashop. There are a huge amount of products already in this shop. I get the following problem in step 4:

When I click next step, this same step is executed again and again... When I have a look in the hikashop after closing this import I see that none of the products have been imported. Any idea how to tackle this issue?

I downloaded the latest one and intalled it. I started the import procedure again. First it is asked to backup the database. Than I push the next button and go directly to step 4 with the same problem as described underneath. Please let me know how to continue...

Hi Luc,

Did you try to clean your image folder (media/com_hikashop/upload) of the images you are not using (or every images)?
This error just means the image already exists. Maybe if you turn off the error reporting it can finish the import.

I deleted everything under that directory. The same starting behavior as described is happening: first it is asked to backup the database. Than I push the next button and go directly to step 4. In step 4 I press next once again and again I am getting the warnings as described in my first message.
This is hanging for more than a week now, we have no progress yet, please advice what to do!

How far are you with the import of this site?

I got a message from the hosting saying that my website is not safe because of old Joomla and old Virtuemart versions. They also say a lot of spam was generated from it. That's why they have put it offline. This puts a lot of pressure to have the new site ASAP online. I asked them to leave it online for a while but I don't know their answer yet! So can you please put some attention to this?

I am having the same issue importing from VirtueMart 2.0.22a to HikaShop 2.3.0

The import stops at step 4 and seems to repeat it self when I click next. It keeps re-importing the first 99 categories.

Thanks to try to update you version of HikaShop, a fix has been made recently about this issue.
The latest version is the 2.3.1, you can take it from our website.
