Hi is it possible to update all Retail Prices (product_msrp) from the Price field using a mass action.
My client needs to filter their products by Price ascending and (correct me if I'm wrong) it seems the only way to do this if each product has a "Retail Price"
There are hundred of products so doing this manually is not an option.
Unless there is another way of displaying products via price ascending by default?

Hi,

It is one way in HikaShop 2.6.x ; but instead of the "msrp" you can use a product custom field. So it will not change the website display for the prices.
Afterwards, in HikaShop 3.x ; the price sorting feature has been implemented so it will be a native feature in the future.

For the mass action configuration, the usage of "OPERATION" is recommended.

Hi,

Yes. You need to use an action "update the values" on the column product_msrp being equal the operation {price.price_value} and it will copy the prices to the msrp field when you process the mass action.

Thanks Nicolas
I did as instructed see screen shot
Saved And processed the action - it doesnt seem to have any affect (no error message and no processing message)
Using hika2.6.4 and Joomla3.6.4
If i put curly brackets in {price.price_value} it says error table {price does not exist.

SOLVED: It actually worked perfectly there were a lot of products with null values hence null was copied to product_msrp - all the ones with prices have been updated successfully
Best wishes and thanks for the support
