Changed server now cart & checkout having issues

Hello,
Can someone please help......
My hosting company moved our website to another server, and now we are having cart issues.

If you add an item to the cart, then remove this item from the cart, you should be redirected back to the main categories page of the website. This does not happen anymore. If you remove the item from cart (the cart is empty), you are redirected to a weird page with text links. If you click onto any of the links you get an error messege.

We also had a checkout button on the dropdown bar at the top of the website and at the footer of the website and had to disable them because these 2 checkout links would do the same thing(redirect to a page with text links that don't work) if clicked on. The only checkout button that now works is the smaller checkout button on the left side of the webpage where it shows the items in the cart. The website has only been doing this since the website was moved to another server. The Hosting companies programmer is confused and doesn't know why it did this. Can anyone please advise on how to fix this. Our business cannot move forward with it being broken since the server move. The website to view this error issue is at www.spectaculartoys.net . Hi there,

For your first problem you should make sure you have something specified for the option "URL where you will be redirected when the cart is empty" in the main configuration (System>Configuration>Main).
About the second issue I can't really help you since the buttons aren't there anymore, maybe you could try to enable it again only for administrator and give us an access so we could take a look.

Thank you for the reply. I did go to the backend into the section where the redirect for the cart when empty, and there is redirect information for when the cart is empty, but it was not the original information that was entered there so it was not working properly. So I changed it to redirect back to the home page if the cart is emptied and that worked, but now I have another issue. The pop-up notice box that states you added an item to cart pops up when you delete items from the cart. The item in the cart does get deleted, but why is the add to cart pop-up notice popping up when I delete the items from the cart now? How can I fix this? Please Advise how can I fix this?

I'm not sure why, but when my website was transferred to another server, certain information was deleted or changed within the cart. I found this odd. Is this a common problem with Hikashop cart, or did the programmer do something wrong when moving the website? Please advise, any help would be appreciated.

I've some tests through your website and succeed to reproduce your issue, so can you tell me how did you set your "URL where you will be redirected when the cart is empty" option ?
