-- HikaShop version -- : 2.2.2 Essential
-- Joomla version -- : 2.5.14

I am using the PayPal and PayPal Pro payment plugins. The "order created" emails are sent to the customer and site owner prior to payment actually being processed. I can see a practical benefit of this for the site owner (follow up of non-completed orders), but he doesn't want that. His old shop only emailed him when the order was complete (ie. paid for).

Alas, the documentation is, again, kind of thin in explaining any of this. Or maybe I've just missed it (despite much searching). It would be nice to know when emails are created and what they say (the default ones) and who they're sent to. Right now, I have no clue about what to do to edit what's in the emails or control what is sent when to whom.

Hi,

You can easily manage the emails thanks to the Business edition of HikaShop.
It is possible to disable them, or edit their content.*

Actually you can already edit their content by editing them via FTP through the folder "media/com_hikashop/mail".
Be careful, FTP modifications are lost after updating HikaShop

Hi,

So that's why you can't edit the emails directly in the HikaShop backend.
Even if you don't have the Business edition, you still can edit the emails using FTP, like Xavier said.
