-- url of the page with the problem -- : mywebsite.com/mypage
-- HikaShop version -- : 2.2.2
-- Joomla version -- : 3.0.4
-- PHP version -- : 5.3.27
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Firefox 24
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : Error_message

The product information on individual orders has gone missing. I also lost sales totals in Main Statistics. I don't know what I did. I was trying to set up and run reports via mass actions. I can still get product totals, so I believe the information is in the database but no longer showing on orders. If I create a new order the product shows up and Main statistics is updated. Please Help.

Hi,

There are two possibilities:
1. The data is still there, but there is a query crashing which prevent the system to load the data. Turn on the debug mode of the joomla configuration and try again. If you get a MySQL error, then it means that you are in that case and knowing the MySQL error should allow us to tell you what to do to fix it.

2. One of the mass actions you run deleted the data in the database. Unfortunately, the only way to get it back will be to restore the data from a backup of your website. Mass actions are powerful but can be dangerous. It's best to first try them on a copy of your website before setting them up on your live website.

I don't believe that I deleted the database as I am able to run reports showing the sales. I just don't see products listed on individual orders/invoices.

I believe the mistake that I made was in Mass Actions and that I clicked on new, set nothing for either trigger or filter. Under actions I set "update the values" / "product name" = INT. / Save.

Is there a way to reverse this?

These means that you removed all the product names of all the products.
You can't reverse that.
The only solution is to restore the data from a backup of your website.

I was able to restore from a back-up and am back to business.
