Hi guys,

Is it possible, using HikaBusiness/HikaMarket, to assign a sort of orders manager, to whom I, as the store owner, will be selectively able to assign customer orders with the "created" status, and which he in turn will be able to change to the status of "confirmed" or "shipped"?

Ta,

Alex

Hi,

Yes.
You can give to some users access to the HikaMarket dashboard.
By selecting specific rights, you can let them access to the order listing and to edit the order status (only).

Glad to hear it's doable.

So far I've created a Joomla user, who is a member of the "Registered" Joomla user group. What should I do next to give him access to HikaMarket order listing with the right to edit order status?

Hi,

Add the user as a authorized user for your main vendor (if you want him to access to all orders or your store).
And configure his ACL rights to just let him access of what you want to give him.

Getting there.

Is it what you meant by "adding the user for your main vendor...":

Hi,

The screenshot show your users for the vendor.
Using the "Add" button you can add a user to the vendor (and set his accesses, like your screenshot does).

In HikaMarket multi-vendor you can have several vendors.
There is the "main vendor" who is your vendor. You can access to this vendor from the HikaMarket configuration (tab "your vendor").
The other vendors have less rights than your vendor (can only access to their products, their categories, their orders, etc).

"Your vendor" (the main vendor) have access to all products/categories/orders/... of the store.
He has the same features that you have in the HikaShop backend.

I currently have one vendor and he in turn has a user, just as you recommended.

Now, how can this user, who has been assigned to my only vendor, access orders from the front end and manage them?

Hi,

When logged, the user can access to the HikaMarket dashboard.
If you want, you can create a menu for that:
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/1...tml#tuto_create_menu

In our demo website, we created a menu under "Other feature" called "HikaMarket
demo.hikashop.com/index.php?option=com_h...l&Itemid=844&lang=en
If you are not logged, he will ask you to login and check if your account have some HikaMarket access.
For our demo website, you can use the account "demo" (pwd "demo") to test it.
