Hi guys!

I would like for my company sellers to be able to create orders on behalf of our customers. The process would be something like this:

Seller will login --> Page that contents all products will appear ---> Seller chooses the products on behalf of the customer --> Next step would be checking out and there would be a form for customer information such as: customer name, address, city etc.

After this order process, the order would be registered by seller’s name but with customer information included.

I need help on how to implement this. What modules should I use for this kind of implementation? I appreciate any kind of help.

Hi there,

You have two options:
- Create a custom field on the checkout so you seller will have to create a new user each time he want to create an order and he will put his name in this custom field. But this doesn't allow much more.
- Take a look at HikaMarket which features a multivendor system: www.hikashop.com/extensions/hikamarket-multi-vendor.html . It will allow you to have multiple vendors on the front and they will be able to manage their sales easily!

It's just about creating a custom field (you need the business version to do so) which you can display on the checkout.
You can give a try on our demo website: demo.hikashop.com , create a custom field of type "user" with the name you want and display it during the registration. So when your seller create the user account he can enter his name (but the user will be "linked" to this seller since it's a parameter like the address)
