how to enable order comment?

it seems that admin or customer does not able to comment on the order.
Here's a case, the shop need to comment on order to let customer know where he can claim the products nearby, or just inform other stuff.
also sometimes user need to add comment to tell that they change the idea and need different color before the prduct have been ship out!

So it's very critical to enable customer and order processor interactive via order!
how to make it?

If you want to contact the customer of an order, simply click on the "email" button of the order details page of your order in the backend and you'll be able to send a message to the user for his order.
If you want your users to be able to contact you. You can create a contact page via the joomla menu manager by selecting type contact form of Joomla.

I just need another field rather than order statas.
A custom field that enable admin of shop to add remark or comments , notes on the order and customer can login to check out the information from order.

It seems just copy the order status part's code and insert a string field in the table? I only know little of php and I wonder if you can make it in the road map? because it's a general feature that many other shopping cart already support! Hikashop seems more user-friendly compare to other solution. only this part of feature seems missing!

Hi,

That feature is already available.
You can do it by creating a custom field of the table "order" via the menu Display->Custom fields in the Business edition. The field will be editable in the backend and the user will see it in the email notification or order details page.
