Order notification e-mail sometimes not received

Hello

Once in a while we notice a order in the Hika Shop back end that we were not notified about via e-mail. This is a major concern for us because we utilize the Hikashop credit card manual authorization and we require the first half of hte credit card info be sent to us via e-mail.

This is not every order just randomly occurs. We check out spam and junk folder and it isn't there either.

Sale e-mails are directed to our company e-mail "This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it."

Any think we can do to prevent this? Ideally we would like to be able to receive the credit card info in one place like in the Hikashop back end, if possible.

Hi,

I would also have recommend to check your spam folder.
If it's not there, then you should check your email server's logs for the error relative to the sending of that email.

We send half of the information in the email and keep half in the order for security reasons.
If you don't do that and get hacked, the hackers could process payments with the credit cards of all your customers and you would be liable for these payments plus a hefty fine by mastercard/visa. I really don't recommend to do it and that's why we don't provide an option to do that.
