Email styling: Techjoomla's "Beautifier" okay?

You've heard that before: styling the emails, especially to meet some 'corporate design', is a royal PITA. And that's sure not your fault, but due to all the in-line CSS etc.

Quick question: could Techjoomla's "Email Beautifier" be used with HikaShop mails?

HikaShop is listed neither under extensions it can be used with, nor under those that they can NOT be used with.

In their FAQ they say: "Email Beautifier can only catch those emails that use Joomla's Native Email Class for sending emails. This is the case with most Joomla Extensions so most of your emails will be beautified. Some extensions like Community Builder are known to use their own Library. So emails generated by such extensions cannot be beautified."

I thought I saw you guys stating somewhere that you're using the standard Joomla email system, but I'm not entirely sure, so I thought I'd ask before spending 20 bucks for nothing...

Hmmm, that sounds good - thanks for the heads-up!

By now I'm already quite far with styling the mails (what a drag if you're as pedantic as I am...), but since there are a few more to go, the mails look shabby on the iPhone, and I'd fancy having the Joomla system mails in the same look, I might volunteer for the test flight in the very near future. In that case I'll be back here, faithfully reporting on take-off, loopings and other in-flight manoeuvres, and - hopefully - a safe landing.
