Send price quote instead of checkout

I have searched the forum, FAQ and documentation, but found not real answer to this.

I would like to use HikaShop as a Price Quote system.

I mean, some products wont have a price shown, so I would like to have a "Send Quote" button.

So that if a customer adds several products to the shopping cart, and then clicks on a "Send Quote/Inquiry" button, I would get an email message listing all the products that the customer is interested in.

So for that you just have to not set prices to your products, and in Configuration > Checkout remove the step "Shipping".
Create a new payment method, in the listing of the available ones select "Check" payment method, then rename the payment method to "Send Quote/Inquiry", edit the different information texts as you want.

This way, when checking out, this will only create an "order" which is in this case an Inquiry and you will be notified by email.

Thanks to the Business edition, you will be able to edit all the emails in order to tell to the customer that it's not an order but an inquiry. You can too do some translation overrides in order to have what you are looking for.
