Hi guys,

We are selling event tickets and want to limit them to one purchase per order.

However when users add a item in the cart by clicking the "add to cart" button and then click a "back" arrow on their browser to add another item to the cart or change something, they get a "sorry this product has sold out" error despite there being plenty of items available.

To create this issue:

1. login at the top using demo1/demo1234
2. go here: www.staging1.wodrocket.com/index.php?opt...t&task=show&cid=1889
3. fill in fields with example data and click "add to cart"
4. click the back arrow
5. fill in fields with more example data and click "add to cart"

You will see the screen as per the screenshot attached.

Many thanks for all the great work and help.

Hi,

I think the error message is just the right seeing the context.
You have made a translation override and the problem is that, you put a limitation of the item in the cart (Maximum quantity per order). So when you try to add the product a second time, HikaShop refuse and give you a error message (which has been translated and which does not feet to this exact context).

Ok. I understand that I can change the language but how do I change the behavior.

I would expect a display of the cart with the LIMIT REACHED message... all the user gets is a blank page with the LIMIT_REACHED_REMOVED error.

Hello,
I just tested it on my end and I'm having the "LIMIT_REACHED" error message when the limit is reached so the solution will probably be to change the value of the "LIMIT_REACHED" translation key through "Hikashop->System->Configuration->Language file->Your Language file"

Yes. We will change the language.

As for the behavior, can we display the current cart when the "LIMIT_REACHED" error message is displayed?

Sure you can display it by using an hikashop cart module.

I am sorry, but I have been playing around trying to solve this for a couple of days. How do i display the "hikashop cart module" on the same page where this "LIMIT_REACHED" error message is displayed?

Thanks.

I don't know the URL of that page so I can't say exactly but you just have to assign your cart module to the menu item of that URL via the joomla modules manager and you'll see it there.
