after purchase, (file jpg) i try to download it but is open a new window content

Why?? I didn't change anything...! Just update Hikashop!

Hi,
Please try again with the "error reporting" and debug mode" of the joomla configuration turned on. Do you get any error message ?
Could you provide the file that you get downloaded in that case or provide a screenshot of the result ?

i think the problem is the plugin FaLang.

But, i need the FaLang plugin for translate my products.
If i deactive FaLang plugin, it's works fine.
So, how can i solve this issue?

Hi,
You have to fix the falang plugin which send some content while it shouldn't.
I guess that there is some blank data in the beginning of the plugin or something like that (line 2 is.. not far !)
The best is to see that with the Falang support.

I have installed Falang because your product (payd) not support multilanguage.
So, the problem come out after hikashop update.
If not make a mistake, FaLang support is not free.
So, if are able to fix the issue, please help me.

Hi,
The problem you got with Falang is weird, because the plugin send some content on the second line of the file.
It is not logical and I am sure that the issue is link to that.
You have to take a look at the incriminated file and see how it send some content (and break the HikaShop download part).
The problem you got is link to Falang and didn't exist before ; for the most I know, we have a lot of HikaShop+Falang users who have a working download system ; so it might be a problem in a recent release or with the package you got (or a carriage return issue maybe).
We are not the Falang developers so it'll be more than difficult to tell you.

ok, let me understand.
You sell a product that does not support multiple languages. I say that to make your product (which I paid) I have to install an external plugin. (Also because the product that you sell does not have this function). But if I have a problem with this plugin that you force me to install otherwise not have the opportunity to do translations, you do not help me.
Honestly, i don't think that this is a professional behavior.

Hi,
Suppose that you purchase Windows 8 and that it doesn't have the function to edit odt files. You phone Microsoft and they tell you that you need to install LibreOffice which is a free software to red that file on their operating system because it can't open it without it.
You then find a bug in LibreOffice which makes your computer crash from time to time. I would argue that you should contact the developers of LibreOffice to report the bug than complain to Microsoft that LibreOffice make your computer crash even though your paid for Windows 8.
Now I checked the file plugins/system/falangdriver/falangdriver.php of Falang on my end and didn't see any problem with it on that line.
So maybe it comes from your version of Falang ? Maybe that file was modified in some way on your website ? Maybe something else in the code of Falang ? I don't know. I'm not the developer of Falang, and I don't know why that would happen on your end and not on ours. I don't even know what you have in that file on your website nor the version of Falang you're using (I checked that file of Falang 1.4.0, 1.2.0 and 1.0.0 and didn't see a problem). I believe that we already went above and beyond what we're entitled to with the support of HikaShop in order to help you here.

The comparison is not exact. You sell a web product and when i buy it, i want that this product run perfectly.
You are not able to make a product with multi language support. This is the problem.
New Joomla Version, doesn't need any plugin to run with multi language. (In the past, they've needed it) So, why you can't do the same?
Anyway, if can help me, i will thank you.
In order to response on your question, the FaLang version is the latest. (Like Hikashop)
(Now, i'm not able to open my website because my provider doing an urgent maintenance: it will be finish tomorrow morning)

Hi,
Please understand that compatibility with all the 8K joomla extensions out there is not easy. We're doing our best and having another extension adding errors on our stuff is not always something we can cope for in HikaShop.
Besides, HikaShop is already multilingual without Falang. Just create one set of categories and products for each language, like you do for joomla and you can have your products translated in HikaShop without Falang. We however went beyond that to integrate with Falang and JoomFish as this is often not a practical solution for translation and that's why we usually recommend Falang.
Anyway, we'll wait that you provide the file from your website so that we can see what's going on with it.

i'm very very sorry.
When i try to download the file, i see on folder 2 different files. I don't know who and why put 2 different file "falangdriver.php" on the same folder. By the way, now the file works perfectly.
Now i have no time, but during next week, i will do some tests and i reporting you the results.
