order confirmation email notification

Is there an order confirmation email notification?
It appears that it is sending 1) an order creation notification which gives the details of the order MD12 and then 2) a payment notification from the payment plugin confirming payment, but not giving details of the order.
Is it possible to send the first notification email with the order details when the order is confirmed, rather than when first created? We have a order fulfillment firm filling our orders and we don't want them to get 2 emails. If they get the payment notification, it would not have the order details in it. So ideally, if the order confirmation email notification comes with full order details, that would be best.
In the setup, I see the Payment notifications email address as well as Order creation admin notifications email address. How can I set email addresses for Order confirmation admin notifications email address
