Date Format Changed in HikaShop Business: 2.3.4

After updating to HikaShop Business: 2.3.4 the date format on the INVOICE (invoice button after clicking on the order from back end) has changed from full date to numbers:

Used to be: 22 October 2014
Now is: 2014-10-22

Client wants it back to the way it used to show.

I cannot find a setting for date format anywhere.

OK, got it. Changed the format to: %d M %Y 20 Nov 2014

But that still does not show the complete month name.

Why did the date format change?
