Email notification on confirmed status only

This may be a bit more of a 'how-to', however I need to limit the number of emails we receive (as the shop operators) to only when an order is 'confirmed'. Currently, we receive a notice when an order is 'created' and when the same order is 'confirmed'. I know there is a way to do this, however I am not seeing it. Thank you in advance for your help.

The customers will indeed get two emails by default. The order creation notification which tells them that the order has been created, before the payment, and the order status notifications which tells them that the order has been confirmed.
You can enable/disable them via the menu System>Emails in the Business edition.

Actually, this is not quite what I'm looking for. I want the shop owner, i.e. the person receiving notification that an order has been placed on their site by a user, to receive only 1 email when the order is 'confirmed'. Right now, they receive 2 emails... one when the order is 'completed' (i.e. added to the store) and second when it is 'confirmed' (i.e. when the payment is processed). I just want the shop owner to receive one notification once the order is confirmed.
