Minimum shoping with Hikashop

Hi everyone.
I want to set minimum TOTAL shopping limit about 1500 euro. I create a new shipping method, And set the minimum price about 1500 euro. But didn't work.

Can i set the minimum TOTAL shoping value in Hikashop?

Hi,

Setting a minimum price on the shipping method is indeed a solution, but it will only work if you have the "force shipping regardless of weight" option turned on in the configuration or if you have weight in your products. Otherwise, the system will assume that you don't need any shipping.
Alternatively, you can also set the same limit in your payment methods and it will work too, regardless of whether your products need shipping or not.

Hi.
We set all the parameters as you told. Then create a tax.
Now we set the minimum order 1000 Euro. But this error message appears. "The total of your order is too low for all the possible shipping methods"
(total cart over 1000 euro.)

Can you help us. thanks

Hi,

Under the minimum/maximum price fields of the shipping/payment methods, you'll find the options "With tax" and "Include virtual
products price".
Based on how you configured the first one, only the price without taxes or the full price of the products will be taken into account, and based on the second one, only the products with a weight or all the products will be taken into account.

But I have tried to put the Minimum price:50,00 € but the cart don't stop.
The car let me continue at the end, and just said a message that it's missing a payment method.

How to let the payment method appear on the same but with one message saying that the minimum price is 50 euros and the client need to order more products to continue the shooping?

Hi,

Like Nicolas wrote, you can put such restriction on the payment methods and also on the shipping methods.
An order can't be completed without a payment method and can't be complete without a shipping method (if you put the option to force the shipping regardless of the weight).

If with these two elements it is still not working, we will need details about your configuration:
- configuration of your payment method
- configuration of your shipping methods (listing)
- your checkout workflow configuration

Thanks Jerome.

I have done yesterday what Nicolas said and works.
I have changed the message the message in translation to alert to the minimum value and it's done.
About the shipping I can't do that because we have diferent taxes for different order values, so in this case we can't put a minimum value in shipping because we have put another values for this situation that I have said.

But for now everything works.

You can do following this steps.

Enter de administrator side and affter following this:

Components > Hikashop

After:

System > Payment Methods

Select or create your method and after choose:

Restriction > Minimum price

And put the price inside.
You can see the picture to understand better where you need to put the minimum price.
