Hello everybody!

I am sorry, i know, there are many topics about taxes, but i don't get it.

I want to do one thing:
The Shopvisitor can choose his country but the taxes are all the same.

/EDIT/
I talked to my client ... and he only wants to sell in europe with 19% BUT the switzerland.
No selling out of europe.

At the moment, in few countries, the taxes are not in the invoice.

What do i have to do?

Thank u very much!

Hi,

It's simple. Just create a tax rate of 19% via the "manage tax rates" button of the System>Taxes menu and then create a new tax rule (via the "new" button of the System>Taxes menu) and configure it with the "Europe" tax zone as zone, the tax rate you just created as tax rate and the "default tax category" as tax category and enable it.
Your products should also already be linked with that default tax category (you can check that in the product tax category option of your products when you edit them) and thus you'll get the tax on the checkout if your user address is in one of the countries listed as sub zone of that "Europe" tax zone (you can look at it under the System>Zones menu).

Hello,
The solution will be to use the "Access level" through your tax configuration page and set it to the group which have to pay that tax.
