Confirmation Email sent before payment

Hi Guys,

I am just wondering if you can help me out here?

If someone makes a purchase in my store, the confirmation email is being sent out, before the payment has been processed?

I am using hikamarket with hikashop and last week, we were doing test purchases (we did email vendors to let them know), one of the vendors received the confirmation email but didn't bother to check her paypal and didn't see her email that we were testing on the site. 2 days later we received a package with the products inside. She didn't realise that no payment had gone through and we had to send her the products back at our expense.

Now I may have set the cart workflow up incorrectly, but surely the order confirmation email should not be sent out until the customer has returned to my website from paypal, no matter how you have the workflow set up? If not then this is going to be very confusing for any hikamarket owner, because as we have found out - not every vendor will check their paypal to see if the money is already there.

I have attached a screenshot to see if I have anything set up wrong.

Hi,

In HikaMarket, you can activate a filter for the order notifications.
So you can send an email to the vendor only when the order is confirmed.

Option "Order notification status filter" (which as been moved to the "main" section ; the documentation will be updated as soon as possible).

Thanks Jerome - That worked!

I have one more question though, related to another hikamarket problem...

When a customer wants to contact a vendor, they can click the contact button in the vendor profile, but when they click it, the contact page opens up underneath my footer and just has an ok button and a large text field - I will add a screenshot, I tested it in a couple of templates, including my new one, but it still seems to happen, can you reccoment maybe a way to have it open up in a lightbox.

I am so sorry to keep asking all these questions, but just when I think I have got hikashop and hikamarket worked out, I find something new lol.

Hi,

Well, it's not an HikaMarket problem ; it's an HikaShop popup problem.
Please change the "popup mode" to "mootools" in your HikaShop configuration (section "display > general").
