in the Cancellable orders statuses field I have "Cancelled", "Refunded"

Also the customers are getting emails, but the admins are not.

Hello,

I can't seem to get the customer cancellation button to show up.

Did you check it through your website front-end on your customer order listing ?

Reading that thread will probably help you :

HikaShop uses the standard joomla email sending functions. If you have a problem only on that email, it means that the problem is the content of the email.
Fist, you should check your different settings in the hikashop configuration under the tab mail. The encoding might not be correct for your email server, it could the ad name option , etc.
What you could try also is to send an email via the interface in sales when changing an order information. Does that work ? If yes, then, the problem is really the content of the order creation notification.
It could also be that your hosting company doesn't allow you to send more than one email per thread and at the end of the checkout, two emails are sent (1 to the customer and 1 to the vendor). So you might want to check on that with your hosting company.

yes, that's where I looked. I loged in as the user that purchased something and looked at my orders. I didn't see a cancel or X

I'll play with the email settings. the person who ordered got an email, so I know it works.

Hi,

in the Cancellable orders statuses field I have "Cancelled", "Refunded"

www.hikashop.com/support/support/documen...nfig.html#main_order

Cancellable orders statuses : If you enter order statuses in that field, for all the orders with one of these statuses, a "cancel" button will be displayed on the orders listing of your customers on the front end. That will enable them to cancel their orders and you will be notified by email when that happens. Please note that payments won't be cancelled by that process so you will have to decide what to do.

You configured HikaShop to let the user cancel the order when the order is "cancelled" or "refunded".

For the emails, please note that there are several options for the differents emails (order creation, payment notification).
You can just test with one single email in order to be sure that it is working.

Hello,
Note that the cancel button will show only for the orders which have the status that you have entered through the "Cancellable orders statuses" option.

I'm a little confused, but are you saying that any new orders that are made should have it since I now set it up, but the old orders won't have it?

Hi,

No, the button will be displayed on all the orders, new ones and older ones if they have the status filled in the cancellable status option.

that's why I'm confused. I have "Order Status" in the field for "Cancellable orders statuses"
and on the "my orders" page I don't have a cancel or X button.

that's why I'm confused.

Here is an example :
- If you set the "Cancellable orders statuses" option to "Created"

- Every order which have the "Created" status will have the "Cancel" button.
